B-12XX : Beef hoist

The hoist is used to bring stunned and shackled cattle to the bleeding rail. It is used with an automatic lander and Riopel shackle trolleys (M-1070). Various speeds and automatisms are available to meet the operation speed c/x 120 heads/hr.

Construction :

• Heavy duty galvanized steel frame adapted to the bleeding rail.
• Electric gear motor with built-in brake coupled directly to a galvanized drum on ball bearings.
• Chain with a counterweight hook hooked at the drum.
• Limit switch on the automatic lander and a reversing starter
• The automatic lander consists in a galvanized frame, a chain guide and a chain pulley.

• Automatic chain return.
• Pneumatic shackle trolley secured device.
