H-5100 : Scalding tank

This scalding is specially designed for small (100 per hour) and high (800 per hour) capacity hog slaughterhouses where pull trough conveyorized bleeding and scalding system is used. Many configuration are possible to fit in your own application. A high volume of water is circulated against the hog to keep pressure on it, bring back to the suction point any possible floaters and keep the same temperature in the whole tank. The surface is maintained with a maximum of steam to fill the surface with a natural foam assuring a better condition for workers and a perfect scald.

Construction :

• SS 304 or painted steel plate

• Sides can be insulated and covered outside.

• Water circulation pump(s), suction and discharge pipes, steam pipes and injection nozzles, drain valves and overflow.

• Electronic temperature controller (4 to 20 mA).

Options :

• Spare pump; space pneumatic temperature controller

• Solenoid inlet valve; Floaters alarm; pneumatic exit gate
